For Lah, photography was never about building a business — it started simply as a hobby, a love for people and a desire to preserve the moments that matter.
Growing up along the Thai-Burma border as part of a refugee community, there was always something quietly understood — that memories matter, that culture is worth holding onto, and that the moments we take for granted are often the ones we miss the most.
The camera was part of the work long before it became the work. Through years of teaching and community youth volunteering, Lah was already behind the lens — photographing, filming, editing, managing content and creating memories for others.
There is no script and no pressure. Just a comfortable space, natural light, and the freedom to simply exist together — exactly as you are.
The style is warm, soft, and naturally lit. No heavy editing, no forced smiles, no stiff posing. Just people, light, and the in-between moments that tell the truest stories.
Based in the Grampians region, Victoria — and happy to travel to Melbourne's west and surrounding areas. Every family, every background, every story is welcome here.

Yes. We hold a current Working With Children Check. The safety and comfort of every child and family is always our highest priority.
We offer a range of session packages to suit different needs and budgets. A full pricing guide is available — simply get in touch to receive a copy.
Yes. A non-refundable booking fee is required to hold your session date. This ensures your spot is reserved and dedicated entirely to you. The booking fee is deducted from the total session cost. Details will be provided upon enquiry.
Booking early is always recommended — especially for newborn sessions. For newborns, booking during pregnancy around 28–32 weeks is ideal to secure a spot. For all other sessions, a few weeks notice is generally sufficient.
We are based in the Grampians region, Victoria. Travel within the local area is included. For sessions further afield — including Melbourne's west and beyond — a small travel fee may apply depending on distance. Details will be discussed at the time of booking.
Sessions can be held at a location of your choice — whether that is your home, a favourite outdoor spot, or somewhere meaningful to your family. We are based in the Grampians region, Victoria and available to travel to Melbourne's west and surrounding areas.
Yes. Indoor sessions are available and can be a beautiful option — particularly for newborns and maternity shoots where a soft, intimate setting feels most fitting. Sessions can be held in the comfort of your own home or an agreed indoor location. Simply mention your preference when enquiring.
Your safety and comfort always comes first. If weather conditions are unsuitable on the day, we will reschedule to the next available date at no extra cost. We will always communicate as early as possible if a weather reschedule is needed.
Life happens and that is completely understood. Rescheduling requests made with reasonable notice are accommodated where possible. Please get in touch as soon as possible if circumstances change.
Session lengths vary depending on the package chosen:
— Mini Session · 20–30 minutes
— Standard Session · 60 minutes
— Extended Session · 90–120 minutes
Newborn sessions may take longer as the pace is always led by baby's comfort and needs. We never rush — every session moves at a pace that feels right for the whole family.
Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully Avoid busy patterns or logos. Most importantly — wear something that feels comfortable and authentically you. A styling guide will be sent after booking.
Please don't worry — this is completely normal and happens more often than you think! Sessions are always relaxed and unhurried, with plenty of breaks whenever needed. Sometimes the most beautiful photos happen in the in-between moments — a cuddle when they're tired, a giggle after a snack, a quiet moment in your arms. There is never any pressure.
The number of edited images delivered depends on the package chosen — Mini (20), Standard (35) or Extended (55). A full pricing guide is available on request.
Yes. Every delivered image is carefully and individually edited to our signature bright, airy style. Raw or unedited files are not provided.
We carefully refine and deliver your edited gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session via a private online gallery. The gallery will remain available to download for 30 days from delivery.
Your online gallery will be available to download for 30 days from the date of delivery. It is recommended to download and save all images as soon as possible, as galleries will no longer be accessible after this period.
Absolutely. There are two options:
— Studio Kwehpaw USB · A USB drive can be provided as an optional add-on. Simply mention this when enquiring and pricing will be provided.
— Bring your own USB · You are welcome to bring your own USB. Please ensure it has sufficient storage capacity to accommodate high-resolution image files. A minimum of 16GB is recommended.
That is completely respected. If you prefer your images not to be shared on social media or used for promotional purposes, simply mention it at the time of booking — no questions asked.
